What is Myopia (Short-sightedness)? 

Myopia is a condition in which the patient faces difficulties seeing objects far away but perfectly fine while seeing near.

This occurs when the eyeball is too long or the cornea being too curved, causing light to be "shorter" than the length of the eye ball.

Images are casted in front of the retina, hence causing the blurriness.

Myopia can happen at birth or after birth.

Risk of getting Myopia is 80% higher, if one uses phones or computer excessively.
