What is Hyperopia (Far-sightedness)?

Hyperopia is a condition in which the patient faces slight difficulties seeing objects far away and near.

This occurs when the eyeball is too short or irregular shape of the corneal, causing light to be "longer" than the length of the eye ball.

Images are casted at the back of the retina, hence causing the blurriness.

Hyperopia can happen at birth or after birth.

Do you know that most infants are born Far-sightedness?

As they get older than 1 years old, only less than 4% of them has Hyperopia.
